July 13, 4PM: Visit The Trailhead store and learn about gear
July 13, 5PM: Prepare and eat dinner
July 13, 7PM: Learn about ecology of Mt Sherman area
July 13, 8PM: Free time
July 13, 9PM: Lights out
July 14, 6AM: Wake up, make breakfast, pack up campsite
July 14, 7:30AM: Depart campsite
July 14, 8:30AM: Begin hike
July 14, 11:30AM (est): Summit Mt. Sherman
July 14, 2PM (est): Conclude hike & head home.

  • Comfort and the Right Stuff. Demonstrate dressing and packing for hike.
  • Know Your First Aid. Demonstrate first aid for common hiking problems.
  • Hiking Is Worldwide. Use Internet or library to explore listed trail.
  • Share the Fun. Find way to share fun of hiking with others.
  • *Happy Trails to You. Plan and go on 2 all-day or 1 overnight hike(s).
