HAPPY SUMMER! We hope that you’re enjoying your summer so far. We’ve got some fun events planned this month and we’d love to have you if you’re in town!
June 19th: Hiking & Geocaching
Our summer flier initially had this pegged as a boating day, but we’ve got some boat repairs to make, so we’re shifting things around. Instead, we’re planning on heading over to Pine Valley Ranch and learning about geocaching, orienteering, and hiking! Girls will earn fun patches and make progress toward a variety of outdoor-related badges.
Girls should bring a backpack, a full water bottle or hydration pack, and a nosebag lunch (a lunch that can be eaten without utensils while walking – ie, an apple instead of applesauce, cookies instead of pudding, a sandwich instead of a salad, etc). Girls should wear sunscreen, sturdy shoes, and layers.
Please RSVP and indicate if your girl needs a ride to Pine Valley Ranch or if you will be providing her transportation.
RSVP for Hiking and Geocaching!
June 24: Bailey Day
We’ve been invited to participate in Bailey Day again this year! We need girls who can help run the Girl Scout booth with games, face painting, and more. It’s a fun way to give community service and to get to see so many friends during a community event. You can sign up for as many shifts as you want – just remember sunscreen and a lunch!

June 24 & 25: Water World
June 24 & 25 are Girl Scout days at Water World! Tickets that are usually $37 for kids and $42 for adults are only $28 on these days!
This is not a troop sponsored activity – meaning we will not be transporting or supervising girls – but we wanted to let you know about this fun family opportunity to save some money and get a cute patch for your uniform.
