We are putting on a Journey in a Day event on Saturday! This event is the first step for becoming a Program Aide, an award that allows for less expensive summer camps and lots of great leadership experience. It also will make our troop a little bit of money as well. I am hoping for 8 girls, ideally Cadettes, to participate in order for this event to run smoothly. Please reply to this email if your girl is able to attend! I need to know ASAP so I can reach out to other troops if we do not have enough girls. Thank you!
Laptop Computers
For our Journey in a Day, we are looking for 10 laptop computers that they can borrow just for the duration of the day. Said computers would be only used with adult supervision and would only be used to access Hour of Code. All laptops would be returned to you at the conclusion of the event. Mac or PC is fine, though if it is an older machine we respectfully ask you to test one of the Hour of Code applications just to make sure it runs OK.
