On Friday, August 12 we headed up to Kenosha pass for an evening hike. We did the first mile or so of the Colorado trail, to the point where we got out of the forest and were greeted with spectacular views of South Park. Then we headed up the road to the scenic overlook Point, got out our camp chairs and blankets, and hunkered down to try to spot some shooting stars! There were a few really bright ones – it was exciting to watch and be rewarded for it! We had about 20 people in attendance.
