The Cadettes have been working on their MEdia journey, in which they examined how women and girls are portrayed in film, print, and more. As the conclusion to their MEdia Journey, they made this video as a response to the tired trope of the damsel in distress. They were inspired by Anita Sarkeesian's inaugural Feminist Frequency video. They did all the writing and staging, and most of the editing - Elizabeth just helped by recording and adding music at the end. They have worked so hard on this project!
